Our second Messy Church will be this afternoon from 4-6:00 in Rand Hall and outside on East Lawn, weather permitting. Our theme will be on migratory birds and their habitat on LI, with focus on importance of clean water in rivers, bay, ponds and streams. Stations on watching and identifying bird species, water conservation and cleanliness, making a hummingbird/oriole feeder, seed feeder or mesh bags of nesting materials, and information on LI Parrot rescue are planned. There will be games and artwork to decorate the hall mural. Father Terrence will share his thoughts before a light supper. Exciting news—we will be visited by a Guest Bird!
